We are trying something we have never done before at our events! It is called the Bring and Buy ‘Auction’.
Do you have games that perhaps are looking for a new home? There is nothing wrong with the games, but for one reason or another, they haven’t been getting to the table enough. Need more space for other games?
Bring your games to KingCon and see if they will sell in our first ever Bring and Buy (BnB) event! This event will be on Saturday, July 13th in the main room of KingCon from 12 pm – 4 pm.
What is a Bring and Buy Auction?
For those who are unfamiliar with this auction format, the idea is that instead of having an auctioneer managing the individual lots for sale, there is a dedicated space set aside with all the items for sale on display. Any attendee can peruse the items and if they find something they would like to buy, simply pick it up and bring it up to the cashier to pay for it for the appropriate listed price. The sale is cash only. There are several banks in Kentville if you need an ATM.
There is lots of info on the Bring and Buy page of this website. There are Seller Registration and Item Forms available for download as well. Please have your info completed for each item before you arrive to speed up the registration process. You can drop off your games between 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the Bring and Buy section of KingCon Command. The sale opens at noon!
