BattleTech is a tactical miniature wargame where players command giant, armoured robots called BattleMechs and other units in a sci-fi setting. Players battle on a hexagonal grid map, using dice rolls to determine the outcomes of combat, including shot accuracy and damage. The game focuses on detailed unit statistics, including armour, weapons, and heat generation, allowing for strategic planning and tactical maneuvers.
