Would you like the change to win a copy of a new game? We are offering an interesting way for you to try to do just that! We will have selected games available to play throughout the convention and on Sunday afternoon we will randomly draw from those who have played each game and that attendee will take that game home!

More about how Play to Win works…

Sign out a game from the selection of Play to Win-eligible games with a KingCon volunteer. Record the names of players who wish to be eligible for the prize on the provided sheets.  A KingCon volunteer must oversee your recording of names.

When you return it, you must confirm the names of all the players who played that game with a volunteer.

Each name on a list for a specific game may only be recorded once.  An attendee may be recorded on multiple different game lists, but no more than once per game.

At 1pm on Sunday, there will be a roll for the winner of each copy of the eligible games, and checked against the numbered list of people who were recorded as having played that game.

The name beside the number rolled will be the winner of the prize and they will be given the game.

A non-playing teacher of a game can also earn an entry on a Play to Win game list by notifying a volunteer at KingCon Command and having the players of the game confirm them as their teacher for a given play.

Only those present at the time of the roll will be eligible to win. If you don’t think that you can make it for the prize roll on Sunday, you can designate someone to be present on your behalf in order to collect a prize.  You must have their name recorded next to yours on the game list(s) indicating that you’ve given your approval for this person to receive your prize.  If you are not present and there is no designated name recorded another roll will be made for the prize.

For additional information or rules, please speak with a KingCon volunteer at the Command Centre.
